Hyundai HY3600SEi 3.4kW Electric and Remote Start Inverter Generator

The Hyundai HY3600SEi is the largest and most robust of all the current Hyundai leisure generators in the range. Designed for the large RV or motorhome for leisure applications, it can also be used as standby power for your house in an emergency, due to the large market-leading output.

Although not a suitcase-style generator, the HY3600SEi is still a versatile and transportable unit with the ‘E’ denoting that this has the capability of being started on a key, and also remotely on a keyfob from a distance of up to 20 metres away.

The digital control panel, which incorporates two UK 3-pin plug sockets producing 230v, as well as a 12v battery charging outlet means that the unit is a more than capable of powering all types of typical items to be found in a leisure setting. It also comes with a fly lead for plugging directly into the power port of any caravan or motorhome, helping to provide power directly to the unit’s power points and lighting.

Like the other generators in the digital inverter range, the HY3600SEi makes use of the ‘ECO’ throttle setting. This setting immediately lets the generator drop the engine revs to allow the generator run at a much more economically. In ‘ECO’ mode, the generator only outputs as much power as is required, resulting in a much lower rate of fuel consumption. It also works the engine a lot less which in turn helps to expand the life of the unit as a whole and decrease the overall noise level of the generator when in use.

As well as this great feature, it also has a raft of key features to help preserve the working nature and lifespan of the generator such as low oil shutdown and overload protection.
